Hi dear readers, welcome back to my blog. Feeling so sentimental again and I think the best thing to do is to blog. First thing to do, find a peaceful song. 'Heaven Knows' from Rick Price is the pick of the day. =)
I haven't update my blog for two months. Well I improved, at least it is just two months. =) Compared to the past, the highest record I had been ignoring my blog was more than 4 months.
So, I decided to talk about Taiwan Trip, let me share some of my good moments and some thoughts about this trip.
It is more to what I have learned, how I feel and the changes of the way I see things. The thing I like about travelling is I am able to make a 'pause' of my routine life, providing me a space to know new things, new friends and to know myself better.
Possibility has no limit, anything can happen, especially when you least expect it. During vacation, unexpected things happen. Either good or bad, it turns to be part of memory. And it enlighten your trip, it gonna be the special part when you recall about this trip. Every time when I travel, I have thought like what if I didn't come. I can imagine myself sitting in front of my desk. I would not have the chance to know my friends more (those who travel along), I would not able to meet new friend, trying out new food and exploring new places.
I learned that there are a few important factors to determine the trip whether turn out to be good one or otherwise. First, do not expect too much. Try not to have too much expectation, too much imagination before trip. Just go with peaceful mind and enjoy every small thing. When you hope too much, if things are not up to your expectation, your mood will be affected due to disappointment. This is what we do not hope to happen. Secondly, choose your travel partner wisely. In my opinion, the best kind of travel partner is those who are flexible, adventurous, have good sense of humor and less calculative. The most important is to feel comfy when you are with them, because you do not wanna spend the few days feeling awkward and regret only after the trip. Next, do not set a limit to yourself. You are free to try, you have the full freedom to try anything. If you feel like wanna try anything but you are worry of something at the same time; my advise, just do it, as you might not have the second chance to visit the same place again. Life is short, why worry so much. Be adventurous. Lastly, feel with your heart. When you are impressed by great view, give yourself a moment to feel it with heart. There will be a moment that you are totally free and peace, just indulge at that moment. When you taste special local food, feel the joy. Listen to local people talking, learn their accent, their special term, feel you are part of them. After all, the most valuable thing you bring home is not souvenir that you bought, but the feeling and memories. No word could ever describe your feeling, hence it is priceless. In fact, life is just like travelling, don't expect too much, how to you think, how you feel and who are you with, it pretty much sum up the story of your life.
Well, that is a bit of my sharing about how I feel after this trip. Let me share some of the photos with you. =)
First thing to do, visit to 7-Eleven. Tasting the local Taiwan smoked sausage. Yummy~
Heading to Xi Men Din, weather was cold but I was excited!
They said this is a must try - Ah Zhong Mian Xian. I personally think it is overrated.
Visit to Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, Taipei.
Can I tickle you?
Taipei 101.
Actually I walked quite far from the building so that I can take pic with the whole building of it.
Day vs Night of Taipei city. It is amazing.
Ye Liu, a place that full of odd shape rock. They all are mushroom-alike.
These rocks are so big and people just look so mini.
Showing the size of the rock by comparing myself next to one of them.
By the way, the holes are disturbing.
I could not deny that this is way too beautiful. The water is clear, sky is blue, weather is just nice. *peaceful*
Jiu Fen, a place which full of good food, full of souvenir, full of people.
This is cute. ^.^
This Chihuahua is too cute, look at it's fatty stomach.
You should look at it when it walk. I wanna bring it home!
Cha ye dan!! So many herbal eggs!
Famous dessert there, best taro ball I ever ate.
Shi Fen was the next stop.
Everyone wrote wishes on the sky lantern.
My turn to make wish.
Few weeks had passed, why I haven't strike lottery and meet my Mr. Right?
I was in the crystal cable car on the way to Mao Kong.
The bottom part is glass, we can look through the bottom.
At night market at Dan Shui. It's quite fun to play this.
I believe I can shoot more balloon if I have more practice. =D
They said the long long ice cream is a must try too.
One of my favourite at night market, cherries tomato with plum.
This combination is brilliant, I am in love. >.<
Another favorite food, it the best thing I ever ate at Taiwan.
Ice cream with peanut flakes wrapped by thin layer of crepe.
I eat one of this everyday, strongly recommended to try.
OMG, I miss it now. @.@
